Project Description

Context

Introduce a new software product with iconic motion graphic video to explain the benefits and features of the product.

Strategy

Use geometric shapes and software interface elements to explain the flow of information within the software.

Impact

The 3D animated video was used on the company website and in event presentations to describe how the software works for IT teams.

The Work

When Veritas came to us, they had minimal visual branding for the platform. We developed the entire look and feel for the launch video, emphasizing the square as a core design element. This square was used both as a transitional device and as a symbolic representation of the platform itself. Through clean geometric shapes and simple motion graphics, we effectively highlighted the key benefits of the Veritas Resiliency Platform.

The Veritas Resiliency Platform simplifies IT teams’ ability to meet Service Level Agreements by efficiently managing services across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

Our primary focus was visualizing the concept of a hybrid cloud. We designed a dynamic, fluid network structure to reflect the interconnected and multifaceted nature of the hybrid cloud. The platform’s icon—a geometric square—symbolizes its ability to surround, encompass, and analyze the entire network.

The visual language struck a balance between abstract and literal representations of IT components. The video combined real interface screen captures with supporting text and abstract graphical elements, illustrating the platform’s network components in a clean and engaging way.
